The seagulls flying, the merry-go-round, the people sitting on the beach, and the sea, definitely....reminds me of vacations with our boys in Santa Cruz.
Nice photos, I am from East Sussex originally ( used to live in Alfriston, lived in Seaford beforehand)and I was born in Brighton-I like the ones with the people in them-the monochrome one of the girl is good.
Wolynski - Yup, so far July has been wind, rain and clouds which is sadly not unusual for the UK.
Ladyfi - I got Tamiflu because I have asthma.
And because my brain was still not working at full speed yesterday I didn't tell anyone what some of the photos were cos I forgot what's so obvious to me, is not necessarily obvious to everyone else.
The jumper is bouncing up and down on a trampoline. The masts on the last photo are indeed boat masts, they looked like very miniature catamarans.
I think I like the one with the 3 yooffs in hoodies looking at the water. It's quirky seeing them there!
Bloody heck, swine flu eh? Well glad you're still with us. Ta for your visit - seems we frequent some of the same blobs. We have excellent taste me thinks.

I'm a sucker for those old carousels so it has to be that one, despite the sheer joy of the bouncing shadow...
ReplyDeleteThe first one, because it's whimsical.
ReplyDeleteGreat post, I love the calousel, the beautiful balistrade, the reader and tethered jumper. Great fun.
ReplyDeleteI like the woman suspended in mid-air doing god-knows what. Not very nice beach weather, is it?
