Painted Backdrop

This was the view from the end of Worthing pier earlier this week. The light and the sea were both very unusual – I thought it looked like a backdrop painted on silk.

  5. The afternoon sky still reflected by the clouds. The lamp post adds scenic drama.

  8. Thanks for your comment, J. These waterfalls in Oregon are actually a 10-hour drive north of where we live, i.e, about 500 or 600 miles from our home. But there are some seasonal small waterfalls up in the mountains not far from us in California. We're on vacation in Oregon (tomorrow, Washington state) these three weeks. Have a great weekend.
