What the well dressed bride is wearing?

Although lucky red is the traditional colour for a wedding gown in China, western style white dresses have become de rigeur for fashionable weddings. Many brides will wear both white and red dresses during the festivities.
 
But why go with something so dull and monochrome as just red or white, when you choose one of these delightful designs?

    That is so weird--the superimposing and mixing of western syle with traditional Chinese style in wedding dresses. Kind of bizarre. No, way bizarre.

    I'm surprised Chinese brides would go for western styles and non-traditional colors. I've often thought white is kind of boring for the bride. Why not add some color?

    These are just like the wedding dresses I saw in Hong Kong. I think our hotel was on the wedding dress street! The names were very entertaining 'Chaste Bride' was one, I guess a bride could live in hope, lol.
