These ethereal hues were gracing the November sky for a few fragile minutes, fortuitously I happened to steal a glance out the window at the same time. I had time to get my camera out, open the door and take two photographs before the pink and blues started fading to grey.

ReplyDeleteA suprisingly gentle and delightful little rectangle to contemplate.

Peacefulness personified! Thank you!
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderfully delicate sky.
ReplyDeleteYup, I took those pictures this morning from my patio with my zoom lens!
I love moments like this. My fiance often asks me if I'm okay while we're in the car and I'm just staring out the window, and I say of course - I'm just enjoying the sky :)
ReplyDeleteI just need a camera that can capture it :)
So pretty and peaceful!
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely, peaceful, pastel sky! Lovely shot, J!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your weekend!
Sylvia
Lovely pastel shades in the sky! Quick thinking on your part in grabbing your camera in the nick of time.
ReplyDeleteI won't be commenting for most of December due to being in a secret location with no internet access. The secret will be revealed later.
So...Have a merry Christmas with your family!
That's my kind of dreaming.
ReplyDeleteAfter a hectic day I feel calmer just looking at that photo.
ReplyDeletePat - how exciting. I hope you have a great time.

ReplyDeleteHow long are you in China for? I have three nieces & nephews who went to China to teach English.
My ancestor home, Kwang Neng is a small village in Kwang Chow, sued to be 4 hours by bus to Kwang Chow city.
NEw Zealand is very small, and there are not many publishers. I told my girls, perhaps next time, they will publish the book. The novel is posted in my blog, Mail Order bride. It was written very quicky for fun. I also have a work in progress, a family journal, awaiting my daughter to edit.
Beautiful sky. You caught it at just the right moment.
